Udar bele Palya
Ingredients
- 2 glasses of water
- 1 cup of washed tur dal
- 1 handful of Coriander leaves
- 3-4 Green chilies
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
- ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
- 4-5 curry leaves
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tbsp Green chili paste
- ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 2-4 tbsp water
Instructions
- Take a saucepan and add 2 glasses of water and bring them to boil
- Add 1 cup of washed tur dal
- Close the lid and let them cook for 5 minutes
- Check the dal, if they are partially cooked.
- Turn off the gas and let them cool
- Sieve the excess water
- In a jar add 1 handful of Coriander leaves
- Add 3-4 Green chilies
- Grind them into a paste
- In a pan add 2 tbsp oil
- Add ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
- Add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
- Next, add 4-5 curry leaves and let them splatter
- Now, add 1 chopped onion and saute
- Add 1 tbsp Green chili paste and saute
- Add ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder and saute,
- Next, add 1 tbsp Salt and mix well
- Add 2-4 tbsp water and let them cook
- Now, add cooked Tur dal into the mixture
- Mix everything well
- Garnish it with some coriander leaves
- Now, the tastiest Udar bele Palya is ready to savor.

Step 1

Add 1 cup of washed tur dal

Check the dal, if they are cooked.
Turn off the gas and let them cool
