Aloo Matar ki sabji
As the winter has arrived, every home in India is Savoring food prepared using Green peas. Green peas are very healthy and tasty. I love to add fresh matar to most of the North Indian dishes… They add different textures and tastes to the food…I just keep on experimenting with the recipes…Some recipes are never repeated and Some turn out to be extremely delicious. I tried preparing Aloo Matar with Palak. Trust me it is the tastiest version of Aloo matar ki sabji… In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for Aloo Matar ki sabji…

Aloo Matar ki sabji
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
- ¼ inch Cinnamon stick
- 1 cardamom
- 1 chopped onion
- 3-4 slit green chilis
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
- ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- ½ tbsp Jeera powder
- 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 chopped Tomato
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 cup Fresh Green Peas
- 1 cup Boiled Palak paste
- ¼ th cup water
- 1 cup boiled and Diced potatoes
- ½ tbsp Garam Masala
Instructions
- In a pan add 2 tbsp oil
- Now, add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds, 1/4th inch Cinnamon stick, and 1 cardamom and saute
- Add 1 chopped onion and 3-4 slit green chilis and saute.
- Add 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste and saute.
- Next, add ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder, 1 tbsp Coriander powder, ½ tbsp Jeera powder, and 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- Saute everything well
- Now, add 1 chopped Tomato and saute well
- Add 1 tbsp salt and saute well
- Close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes
- Once, the tomato becomes soft, add 1 cup Fresh Green Peas and saute
- Close the lid and cook for two minutes
- Now, add 1 cup Boiled Palak paste
- Mix everything well
- Add ¼ cup water and mix well and cook.
- Then, add 1 cup boiled and Diced potatoes
- Mix everything well and cook.
- Now, add ½ tbsp Garam Masala and mix well
- Cook for 4-5 minutes
- Now, the yummy Aloo Matar ki sabji is ready to savor.

Now, add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds, 1/4th inch Cinnamon stick, and 1 cardamom and saute
Add 1 chopped onion and 3-4 slit green chilis and saute.

Next, add ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
Add 1 tbsp Coriander powder, ½ tbsp Jeera powder
And add 1 tbsp Red chili powder
Saute everything well
Now, add 1 chopped Tomato
Add 1 tbsp salt and saute well
Close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes
Once, the tomato becomes soft, add 1 cup Fresh Green Peas and saute
Close the lid and cook for two minutes
Now, add 1 cup Boiled Palak paste
Mix everything well
Add ¼ cup water and mix well and cook.
Then, add 1 cup boiled and Diced potatoes
Mix everything well and cook.
Now, add ½ tbsp Garam Masala and mix well
Cook for 4-5 minutes
Now, the yummy Aloo Matar ki sabji is ready to savor.
