How to prepare vermicelli upma
Ingredients
- 1 cup Roasted Vermicelli
- 2 tbsp Oil
- ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 7-8 Cashew nuts
- Handful peanuts
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2-3 green chilies
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 tbsp salt As per taste
- ⅕ cup water
Instructions
- Take 1 cup of roasted vermicelli in a bowl.
- Add 2 tbsp of oil to a pan and heat it.
- Add ½ tbsp mustard seeds and 1 tbsp cumin seeds to the oil.
- Now add 1 handful of cashew nuts
- Add 1 handful of peanuts and saute.
- Next, add 1 chopped onion and saute well.
- Then add 1 medium chopped tomato to it and mix well.
- Add salt as per taste and mix well.
- After that, add 1.5 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
- Once the water starts boiling, add 1 cup of roasted vermicelli to it and mix.
- Cover the lid and put it on the sim.
- Open the lid after 5 minutes and give a final mix.
- Now the tastiest Vermicelli upma is ready to savor.
