We love savoring Poha for our breakfast…It is very light on the stomach, yet fulfilling. There are varieties of Poha in India…Each of them needs different methods of preparation…In today’s blog, I am going to share one super tasty and super easy Recipe for Dry Poha Or Paper Avalakki…

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
  • ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • ½ cup peanuts
  • 1 medium-sized chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp Green chili Paste
  • 1 tbsp Salt as per taste
  • ¼ the tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 handful of chopped Coriander leaves
  • 2 cups of dry Poha

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and add 2 tbsp Oil
  • Add ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
  • Add ½ tbsp Cumin seeds
  • And add 4-5 curry leaves and let them splatter
  • Next, add ½ cup peanuts and fry them
  • Add 1 medium-sized chopped onion and saute
  • Add 1 tbsp Green chili Paste and saute
  • Now, add 1 tbsp Salt, as per taste, and saute
  • Add ¼ the tbsp Turmeric powder and saute
  • Mix everything well
  • Now, add 1 handful of chopped Coriander leaves
  • Mix everything well
  • Turn off the gas and let it cool
  • Now, add 2 cups of dry Poha
  • Mix it with the masala base
  • Now, the yummy and crunchy Dry Poha is ready to savor.

Now, add 1 tbsp Salt, as per taste, and saute

Add ¼ the tbsp Turmeric powder and saute

Mix everything well

Now, add 1 handful of chopped Coriander leaves

Turn off the gas and let it cool

Now, add 2 cups of dry Poha

Now, the yummy and crunchy Paper Avalakki or Dry Poha is ready to savor.
