In today’s blog, I am going to share one super tasty and protein-rich, healthy breakfast recipe… Thalipattu is one of the easiest and yummy recipes…Whenever I am confused about what to prepare for breakfast… I end up preparing Thalipattu because it tastes delicious and it is fulfilling… It takes very little time to prepare it…

Thalipattu
Ingredients
- 1 cup grated Cucumber
- 1 cup Grated Carrot
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp Green chili paste
- 1 tbsp Salt as per taste
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- ½ cup Besan flour
- ½ cup Rice flour
- 1 cup Jowar flour
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Take a mixing plate or a bowl
- Add 1 cup grated Cucumber
- Add 1 cup Grated Carrot
- And add 1 cup chopped onion
- Next, add 1 tbsp Green chili paste
- And add 1 tbsp Salt, as per taste
- Add 1 cup Wheat flour
- Add ½ cup Besan flour
- And add ½ cup Rice flour
- Then, Add 1 cup Jowar flour
- Now, start mixing all the ingredients without adding water.
- Cucumbers and other veggies release some water. Mix everything well
- Start adding or sprinkling water little by little
- Knead the dough well using your hands
- Do not add much water.
- The consistency of the dough should be as shown in the picture.
- Now, the dough for Thalipattu is ready.
Instructions with Images
Take a mixing plate or a bowl
Add 1 cup grated Cucumber
Add 1 cup Grated Carrot
And add 1 cup chopped onion
Next, add 1 tbsp Green chili paste
And add 1 tbsp Salt(as per taste)
Add 1 cup Wheat flour
Add ½ cup Besan flour
And add ½ cup Rice flour
Then, add 1 cup Jowar flour
Now, start mixing all the ingredients without adding water.
Cucumbers and other veggies release some water. Mix everything well
Start adding or sprinkling water little by little
Knead the dough well using your hands
Do not add much water.
The consistency of the dough should be as shown in the picture.
Now, the dough for Thalipattu is ready.
Take a butter paper or banana leaf.
Greece it with some oil
Take a ball sized dough and start making Thalipattu
Gently press and pat the dough into a thin layer.
Pat and give it a round shape
Heat a Tawa and sprinkle some oil
Now transfer the Thalipattu onto the Tawa
Let it cook on one side
Once, it is cooked well on one side, flip it over
Cook it completely
Now, the Thalipattu is ready to savor.
