Dal Palak Khichdi Recipe
In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for Dal Palak Khichdi recipe. Khichdi is my go-to food for a busy and tiring day. Having a bowl of khichdi just nourishes my soul. It’s my comfort food. Khichdi is power-packed with good protein along with many other nutrients. I have tried many varieties of khichdi. Palak Khichdi is my number-one choice on the list. It’s very tasty and fulfilling. Anyway, I will never say no to Khichdi. Now, before my mouth starts watering…let’s jump into the recipe.

Ingredients
1 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp cooking oil
2-3 Cloves
1 piece bay leaf
4 black pepper
1 small piece cinnamon stick
1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
1 small onion cut into dice
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
4-5 Green chilies cut into halves
1 cup of chopped tomatoes
1 Potato cut into dice
1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Salt
4-5 Curry leaves
1 cup of chopped Palak
Add 2 glass of Water
1 glass of Soaked moong dal and rice mixed in a 1:1 ratio
2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
Instructions with Images
In a pressure cooker add 1 tbsp ghee

Add 1 tbsp cooking oil

Once the oil is heated, add 1 piece of bay leaf, 2-3 Cloves, 4 black pepper, and 1 small piece of cinnamon stick

Now, add 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds

Add 1 small onion cut into dice and saute well

Add 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste and mix everything well

Now, add 4-5 Green chilies cut into halves

Add 1 cup of chopped tomatoes and cook well

Add 1 Potato cut into dice and mix well

After that, add 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder and mix

Now, add 1 tbsp Salt and mix everything well

Add 4-5 Curry leaves and mix well

Add 1 cup of chopped Palak and saute well

After that, add 2 glasses of Water and mix everything well

Bring it to a boil

Now, add 1 glass of Soaked moong dal and rice mixed in a 1:1 ratio

Add 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves

Close the lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles

Now, the khichdi is completely cooked

If you want, a flowing consistency, add a little more water and cook
