Dry Peanut chutney
In today’s blog, I am going to share the recipe for Dry Peanut chutney. It is one such versatile food which goes perfectly with almost any South Indian dish. Peanuts are power packed with high protein and healthy fats. Whenever you are unwell or bored, you can just prepare steamed rice and enjoy the Dry Peanut chutney with some ghee or Curd. Now, without any delay, let’s jump into the recipe of Dry Peanut chutney.

Ingredients
200 grams Peanuts
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
8 to 10 garlic cloves
1 tbsp Sugar or Jaggery
3 to 4 tbsp Red chili powder
5 to 6 curry leaves
1 small piece of tamarind
1 tbsp Salt according to taste
Instructions with Images
Take a pan and add 200 grams of Peanuts
Dry Roast them well and completely. Once the peanut are roasted well turn off the gas and let them cool

Now, add the roasted peanuts into a jar

Add 1 tbsp cumin seeds

Add 8 to 10 garlic cloves

After that, add 3 to 4 tbsp Red chili powder according to taste

Add 5 to 6 curry leaves

Add 1 small piece of tamarind

Now, add 1 tbsp Salt according to the taste

Add 1 tbsp Sugar or Jaggery

Grind everything into a coarse powder or fine powder based on your preferences

Now, the healthy and tasty Peanut powder is ready to taste.

You can enjoy this chutney with Akki roti, thalipattu , and other yummy rotis
You can enjoy chutney with Rotti, Chapati along with ghee. And it tastes amazing with hot steamed rice, ghee, and half tbsp of lemon juice. It is so versatile that, you can savor it with any dish as a side dish. You can store it for up to 2 months. Do not grind the Peanuts until they are completely cooled down.
