Gongura Chutney
In today’s blog, I’m excited to share the recipe for Gongura Chutney, a beloved dish from Andhra cuisine. My husband, who is a talented cook, loves experimenting with different chutneys, and lately, we’ve been obsessed with this delicious Gongura Chutney. Gongura Chutney is made using Gongura leaves, also known as Pundi Palya in North Karnataka. While we’re familiar with Pundi Palya from our childhood, Gongura Chutney was a discovery for us, and it quickly became a favorite, especially when paired with hot rice and ghee. Once prepared, this chutney keeps well in the fridge for up to a week, making it perfect for quick lunches. Just grab some chutney, mix it with rice, and you’re ready to go. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the recipe.
