In today’s blog, I am going to share the Black chana curry recipe. I and my family love to serve it with hot poha for breakfast as well as with Roti. It is a protein-packed breakfast. I have tried various methods of preparing black chana curry, But, I liked this recipe the most. It tastes delicious. Please give it a try you will love it.

Black Chana Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup soaked Kala chana
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Take a pan and add 2 tbsp oil
- Add 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
- And add 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- Now add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Add 1 tbsp chili powder and saute
- Next, add 1 cup chopped onion and saute well.
- Next, add 1 tbsp garam masala
- Add 1 tbsp coriander powder and saute
- Now add cooked black chana to the masala and mix well
- Add ½ cup water and close the lid and cook for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes add salt as per the taste and mix well.
- Now add chopped tomato and close the lid and cook for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes add freshly chopped coriander leaves to the curry
- Now the Kala chana gravy is ready.
- Serve it with hot Poha and enjoy.
